Rehabilitation of a 1970s house.
The project enabled this abandoned house, located in the "Tour du Ruou" area, to become a functional place to live again, notably by modifying the facades and modernising the interior.
The project proposes a more orderly and quiet façade design than the original one. The overall volume of the building is retained. The simpler and purer geometry of the redesigned house offers a real diversity of views. On the south façade, a large wooden screen frames the volume, supports a balcony on the first floor and turns over at the roof to provide a large pergola on the terrace, which looks out over the land of the black truffle in 360 degrees.
The facades are treated with a natural lime rendering, with a very fine grain, in a light colour. Two walls of the extension are also treated with lime rendering to affirm the architectural continuity between the house and its extension. The boundaries of the plot are left natural.
