Architect, urban planner and designer, Jean-Michel Wilmotte opened his design office in 1975. Today, at the head of a team of 154 people made up of 25 nationalities, he carries out projects throughout the world in some twenty countries.
Published in bilingual French/English on the occasion of the opening of the Wilmotte UK Ltd office in London, this book is not a simple monograph, but a look at “architectures at work” that make work. This book, with a preface by Stéphane Paoli and based on numerous interviews between the author François Lamarre and Jean-Michel Wilmotte, explores the architect’s production through a selection of 20 projects presented in plans and images, each accompanied by a detailed account of the history of the project and its construction.
